Mark it up to the 9BDXCC, DXCC Challenge, band and mode specific awards
(DXCC and others), big egos and the Internet where everything can be spotted
and tallied (online logs) so conveniently. I'm guilty too.

The real measure of a DXpedition is how many unique calls they work. The
rarer the location, the more important this becomes and the operation should
be tailored to maximize the number of unique calls, given propagation and
other constraints.

Hi Larry

I have always wondered why people want to work the DX'pedition on every
available band/slot.
