Specifically, the page for the homebrew transistor circuits are here:

Sounds like your friend is looking for a commercial interface that does
FSK. Sorry but I don't know of any suggestions. I don't know
if the Signalink does FSK or not.

www.rttycontesting.com shows a simple homebrew FSK/PTT interface and
references some commercial interfaces. There are many choices.
For a more comprehensive discussion, including an interface comparison
chart, see the RTTY Contesting column in the May/June 2012
issue of NCJ, page 41.

A ham friend called last night he wants to get on RTTY with a PC and
an Icom IC-756 Pro III and he plans to use FSK. He wanted to know if
there was an inexpensive interface device to handle the connections
between the PC and the Pro III.
As a Mac user I only use AFSK and could not help him. The SignaLink
USB is good for AFSK but does not support FSK. How do FSK users
handle the connections between the PC and and Icom?
I referred him to AA5AU's web page and he did not see any mention of
using something like the SignaLink for FSK.
