Why, then, is there a Mackintosh (OS/X) section in the uHam drivers download
page?
And why does the manual include instructions for product installation on OS/X?

There is no software from MicroHAM to support their products on a Mac (any
version).
You can, however, adapt the (Objective-C) source code for "uH Router" to make
it fit your needs. Just go to the download page of this set of pages at my
site:
http://www.w7ay.net/site/Applications/Router/index.html
The entire Xcode project should be in the download page. There is also a
companion "uH Utils" program on my web site for downloading new firmware into
the MicroHAM interfaces.
