It's pretty easy to tune stations exactly using the arrow keys. Of course, RIT needs to be off, as it should be in S&P. I use numpad keys 1,2,4 and 5 for nextmult-otherradio-bandmap and nextqso-otherradio-bandmap, so my fingers are already over there near the arrow keys.
