I knew someone would bite :-)

For the 2009 CQWW CW contest, I manually altered all
QSOs in my log as follows.  I changed all reports to
569, I submitted my own zone as 15 (instead of 14),
and I subtracted 1 from all zones received.

I lost no points as a result of these changes (4
deliberate errors per QSO).  On the other hand,
I lost a few points (described in detail in my UBN
report) for callsign errors.

2009 was the second time I did this particular
exercise.  To repeat, in CQWW nothing is checked,
or cross-checked, other than callsigns.  You gain
a competitive advantage by knowing this and acting
upon it - never worry about anything other than the
callsigns.
