One thing I would like to point out...
Last year in ARRL CW, 10 meters opened to Europe at European sunrise
producing 20db over S-9 signals to some parts of Europe. Mostly southern
Europe. This was the first time I had experienced this opening, but if
conditions are REALLY good, you might want to check the band around 0700Z
to 0800Z or so in this contest too.
