This weekend and holiday are definitely the time for CW QRP contests.
There are four of them and the last two have a two-hour overlap. There
is also a RTTY WW Contest and the ever popular All Asia Phone contest.
In the order of the starting times, here they are:
1. All Asia DX Phone. 00Z Sat to 24Z Sun. 80-10M. Exchange RS + age
(or 00 for female ops). List of Asian DXCC entities in on website. 10
minute rule except for new mults. In the SOABHP categories, there are
new special awards for "junior" ops (20 years or younger) and for
"silver" ops, 70 yrs or older. Summary and log sheets can be downloaded
from the website. Those who submit scores electronically will want to
pay special attention to the guidelines for submission that can be
reached by a jump from the website. They have disqualified logs in the
past for not complying with their guidelines.

2. Russian RTTY WW Contest. 00Z to 24Z Sat. 80-10M. Exchange: RST +
Russian Oblast (2 letters) or RST + CQ Zone. Rules apparently not
available on a website.
3. "Wake Up" QRP Sprint. 04-06Z Sat. 40,20 M. Exchange: RST +
Suffix of previous QSO (send "QRP" in QSO #1). You can work the same
station again on the same band in a different half hour.

4. IARU Region I FD SSB and RSGB SSB FD. 13Z Sat to 1259Z Sun.
160-10M. Exchange: RST + serial number. Not really designed for DX
participation except, like in our FD, DX stations may be worked for
credit. So, it can be fun to give points to the European FD stations.
5. QRP SK Memorial Sprint. 18 - 21 Z Sat. CW only. 160-10 M.
Exchange: RST + SPC +QRPARCI member # or power output. Bonus points
for true portable operation. I will forward a message from N4BP about
the rules for this one.
6. Mi QRP Labor Day Sprint. Mon 23Z to Tues 03Z. 160-6 M. CW only.
Exchange: RST + SPC + member number or power output.

Probably Mi QRP guys who start out 2 hours earlier will add their power
output to their MiQRP exchange for the last two hours. Those of us who
don't belong to the MiQRP club will have exactly the same exchange and
will not need to change, but will need to get the power from MiQRP
members worked during the last two hours. The only downside to this is
that dyed in the wool MiQRPers might not work you again for Spartan
Sprint credit in the last two hours, but I don't think this is worth
worrying about. I'll probably try to do the whole 4 hours using the
MiQRP module in NA and break out the last two hours for the Spartan
Spring automatic reporting system to include any "duplicate" QSOs that I
can make during the last two hours.
