I'm looking into this (and haven't yet had a chance to talk to Kent
about it). I want to have the membership Roster page generated from a
database, and have thought about setting up forms on the site to
maintain the database. These, of course, would have to be on a
password-protected section of the site.
I've determined that the site does support CGI programs. Haven't yet
found out about password protection.
I'm also pondering having the membership application page save the
details to the same database, possibly with a 'hasn't yet been vetted by
secretary' flag so that we don't have jokers stuffing the displayed
roster with faked entries. It would save a bit of data entry.
