I am opposed to limiting power to less than the legal limit. It reduces
the number of possible QSOs. It would make it impossible for many DX
station and also for west coast stations to make enough QSOs to make it
enjoyable enough for the to stick with it. It is a mistake for QSO
parties to have a flat limit on power. It is also a mistake to put in
power multipliers to encourage stations to reduce their power. Both
result in fewer possible QSOs and separate awards for each power level
is sufficient to encourage QRP and LP stations to compete. 73, John, K4BAI.
