John:
Thanks for the email to the clubs! For the first few days conditions
were somewhat poor, although I did catch a short opening on 10 to the
east coast on Monday. Conditions have improved, and based on the K index
I suspect that conditions will begin to deteriorate at bit over the next
few days
40/30/20 have been the money bands, with no contacts on 17, 15 or 12. I
have been active mostly on CW. The most productive times on this end
have been around sunset. There has been very little propagation here at
local sunrise which has been a big surprise. Best DX so far has been 4J
and EL on 30. Both answered my CQ.
I try to be on 30 or 40 at east coast sunrise. Thanks for the contact! I
will be QRV until Sunday AM local time.
So far
260Qs
53 counties
23 zones.
