This Week's Contests:

1.  QRP Fox Hunt.  The summer series on 20M starts tonight.  Friday 
0100-0230Z (Thursday night local date).  Two QRP Foxes (K2ZN in NY and 
NK6A in CA) will be hiding between 14050 and 14070 kHz.  Work only the 
two foxes.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Maximum power 5W.  Do not 
spot the frequency of either fox.

2.  NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice.  0145Z-0215Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY 
rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz and up 
from 1805 kHz.

2.  NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule. 
  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look aound 040 kHz on each band 
and up from 1815 kHz.

3.  FISTS Summer Slow Speed Spriint.  00-04Z Sat July 4 (Friday night 
local date).  100W maximum power.  13 WPM maximum speed.  Exchange: 
RST, SPC, Name, FISTS# or power.

4.  Venezuela Independence Contest.  24 hours of Saturday UTC.  160-10M 
CW, Ph, PSK.  Exchange:  RS(T) + serial #.  Work everyone.

5.  DL-DX RTTY Contest.  11Z Sat to 1059Z Sun.  80-10M RTTY.  Exchange: 
  RST + serial #.

6.  Marconi Memorial Contest.  14Z Sat to 14Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + serial #. Work everyone.

7.  Original QRP Contest.  15Z Sat to 15Z Sun.  20, 40, 80M CW.  15 
hours maximum time.  Exchange:  RST + #/power category.  Categories are: 
VLP (1W or less).  QRP (5W or less). MP (20W or less).

8.  PODXS 070 Club Firecracker Sprint.  20Z Sat to 20Z Sun.  40M only 
PSK31.  Exchange:  RST + SPC.

9.  DARC 10M Digital Contest.  1100 to 1700Z Sun.  10M RTTY, Amtor, 
Clover, PSK31, Pactor.  Exchange:  RST + serial #.

10.  QRP ARCI Summer Homebrew Sprint.  2000-2359Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + QRPARCI# or power.  There is usually a fair 
amount of activity in this one near the usual QRP calling frequencies. 
You can run any power, but a power mult is applied.  You do not have to 
be using homebrew equipment despite the name.

11.  Adventure Radio Society July Spartan Sprint.  0100-0300Z Tuesday 
(Monday night local date).  80-10M CW.  5W maximum power.  Exchange: 
RST + SPC + Power.

12.  Every Wednesday CWOpc Club CWT Mini Tests.  Three separate one-hour 
mini tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 028-040 kHz on each band 
plus up from 1815 kHz.

Hope everyone has a nice July 4th holiday, a nice week end, and a lot of 
QSOs.  Coming up on weekends in July, we have the IARU HF Contest, the 
CQ VHF Contest, and the Islands on the Air Contest.
