Thanks to all who sent suggestions and spent time with my log problem. I
must be loosing my ability to clearly explain myself!
I did use POST L A each time and did so again tonight just to be sure. I am
consistantly getting a copy of the log.dat file with new file name as output
from the POST L A procedure. I edited this file in WORD, saving as a text
file, out of desperation and resubmitted with the original summary.
I received confirmation tonight that the resubmitted file was accepted.
The question remains, why is POST L A not producing the proper file on my
system? I'm using 6.15 with directery structure as suggested
\TR\CONTESTS\SS97CW ) and have run post from both the TR and SS97CW
directories with the same result.
Tree, if the log.dat file does not contain my fixed exchange info (A N9IJ 66
IL) where does POST grab this info for insertion into the arrl log format?
I'd suspect I've not got this set and is causing the omission.
