Until Tree can come to grips with ICOM's obnoxious CI-V (man, you
should try using what they had before that!), get a Yaesu - or better
yet, a Kenwood. Yes, I know, not a helpful suggestion, but CI-V is
the remote control equivalent for radios as SECAM is for television.
Try writing your own little routine to drive an ICOM & you'll see what
I mean!
