Search using Google for DOS 6.22.

I found a site that let me download a clean
disk set and it works just fine.

This site seems to be what you need:

Okay, here's a dumb question. Do I need to outfit this laptop with an
actual (non-Windows emulator) DOS version? Right now all I have is whatever
you get in Windows 98 where when you boot from a floppy it says something
like "Starting Windows 98..." and then you get an A> prompt....?

If so, This could definitely be my problem. Where can I go to get such a
DOS? Surely it's plentiful and free?
