The cure may be to replace the 2.4 kHz filter with an INRAD 2.8kHz
filter. Seems that in some VI+ rigs, the CW sidetone one hears
is on the skirt of the 2.4 kHz filter always in the signal path. Replacing
with a 2.8 filter will cure this. Contact INRAD for info.
