I read in the November 1990 QST review of the Omni V that Ten-Tec published
a supplement to the owners manual called "Omni V, Model 562 Supplementary
Data" which included a lot of additional information and tips about
operating the radio. Apparently, at some point this manual was incorporated
into the standard "Operator's Manual".
I'd like to determine whether my manual is the updated one, or the original.
I think I have the newer one, but am curious.
My manual has a one page Chapter 2 titled "Condensed Operating
Instructions", a twelve page chapter 3 titled "Detailed Operating
Instructions", and a four page Chapter 4 titled "Operating Hints".
Is your manual different? If anyone doesn't have some of these pages and
would like them, I'd be happy to copy and send them for a stamped self
addressed envelope. Likewise, if there are other pages I don't have, I'd
like to get them.
