Hi All

Well, I went the cheap route and built my own interface for Hamcom 3.1. I run
it from an old 386 laptop in DOS, and it works just great. If one is just
going to run RTTY [as opposed to AMTOR], you can simplify the interface by
leaving out PTT switching and just let the VOX key the rig [this is AFSK, and
the input goes into the MIC connector].

The Hamcom 3.1 software is cheap [shareware--registration $30], and quite
versatile. It allows you to automate much of the operation, including
increasing serial numbers for contests, etc.

Hope that presents clearly one way to do it.
