I've taken a new job that is going to have me on the road a bit more, and
I'm thinking of getting an HF rig that could go along with me and operate
from hotel rooms and camping trips. All I really need for now is CW, but I
suppose I'd like to have SSB as well. I'd like something VERY SMALL though.
I think I'd like something that will go adjust to very low power for QRP but
still have some power for when I need it.

What do other folks use for this purpose?

Is one of the early Ten-Tec rigs a good choice, or are there smaller
packages that work well?

I've looked at the Argo 556 and the older Argosy 509 and 515.

All comments welcome.

Also, can someone give me a pointer to the QRP list that I've heard about?

Thanks!
