There are 2 relays involved here. One is the open-frame relay which
keys an amplifier and can be disabled and the other is a small reed
relay which does the transmitt-receive switching. This little relay
has been used in most TT rigs since ancient Tritons roamed the earth.
Usually you can hear it but you may have to do like the RCA dog. Now
that's what is legendary!
