Good morning!
I've been reading the reflector mail over the last 24 hours, especially
the comments re: the 238 antenna tuner.
We are out of stock on the tuner at the moment. Ten-Tec is
currently running a two page color advertisement in QST and
CQ magazines which includes the 238 antenna tuner - this is
the first time we have advertised the tuner in the ham mags in
many years.
We had a result from the advertisements that I would not have
predicted, but in retrospect should have seen coming: that the
sales of the tuner spiked higher after the ads appeared. Which,
unfortunately for our customers, and for us has left us short on
available units over the last three months. We have a 4 week
backorder at present.
Scott, I received my 238 on 24 Feb after about four weeks wait. It is the
best antenna tuner I have ever used. After about three or four days getting
used to it and making a tune up chart, it resets to all frequencies the
first try. It is very broad banded and I have found, unlike other tuners, I
can forget it and qsy all over the band, CW or SSB without retuning the 238.
Thanks for the great equipment.
Now if you would put a keyboard keyer in the Pegasus-------
