While my 238 may not be the best design for open wire feeds, I am very
satisfied on 10 thru 160 using it and 60 feet of ladder line to feed the
center of an untuned inverted doublet 120 feet from end to end - the maximum
my lot will allow. Of course 160 is a challenge, but I made 82 contacts
during the CQ 160 contest running 100W, so while I can't ragchew ssb on that
band, I can chat with cw ops.
