Richard, any transceiver should have the same problem. My pegasus
picks up the monitor from the antenna. If you have a computer on
it is going to cause RFI. There is RFI from the computer inside 
most modern tranceivers that is less than the monitor RFI.
I got the Pegasus for the price and I live with the RFI.
