Not logical in the sense that TT should have provided the ability to reduce
the output for the Tune function. My auto antenna tuner needs only 5W to
tune and since the SWR can go up when it is tuning it is much better if the
minimum power is used. I would hope that the power out for tune can be set
independently of the power out for the tune position, using software. And
that TT will add this to the next version of the software.

I don't know what to tell you. I run a amp set for 450 watts CW output with
my Jupiter set at 42% and when I go to TUNE I sure have 450 watts out of
the
amp.
