Don't know about today, but over the years have known
many Jag owners. Unfortunately, the MTBF for those
autos is just too short!! Was riding in a beautiful Jag
sedan up to San Francisco, to a much anticipated dinner.
The thing broke down on the freeway; overheated because
the water pump failed, block warped, huge repair bill for
the owner. Got back to my place, picked up the old 250SE,
and just got to the dinner in the City on time. British Motors
just had too much "old fashioned" engineering; owned only
one, an MGB, and it too was a great pain to keep operating.

Now my Omni VI, has had no problems, though the companion
PS blew out it's regulator once, which failed use of the set up.
