This was addressed some time ago on the TrLog reflector.  As I recall, the
problem is a file called fastfind.exe which is periodically run by Windows.
As I understand it, this builds a list periodically to help Windows later
find files more quickly.  The fix was to search your hard drive for this
file and either delete or rename it to something else in case you want to
later restore it.  I just renamed it to xfastfind.exe.  As always, remember
this free advise is worth what you paid for it.
