I disagree. As Ken has pointed out, R.F. can be dealt with in a systematic
approach. I'm using a Pegasus into an Alpha 77Dx, transmitting 1500-watts
into a vertical antenna located 35-feet from the shack and I have yet to
detect an R.F. problem. I don't even have the radio grounded. Under this
condition, there's a lot of R.F. getting through the case of the radio and
it's still not a problem.
I took care of all my R.F. troubles ten years ago by placing 25 ferrite bead
cores with a mixture of #77 and #43 material onto the incoming antenna leads
AND in between the radio selector switch and the amplifiers.
Keep working the problem. I'm sure you'll find the solution.
