huh? What, pray tell, have they been showing and demonstrating for the last
30 (or more?) years?

I've got the best radio around by far in my Omni VI(u3).  That didn't happen
without Ten-Tec engineering and technical ability and imagination.

I may not be able to afford your new radio, but maybe it will depress Omni
VI+ prices enough to allow me to buy one to replace the Omni VI (with zero
upgrades).
