Yes 600 does sound difficult to achieve. Must have been rated with 20% high line voltage or at the peak of a leading edge of a dot before the power supply drooped. Like an audio amplifier where the supplies are supported with regulated lab supplies at their unloaded value then tested with sine wave signals to get an easy reading of one shot peak power. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N.
