Yes, I have read that article and more or less understand it. I am
sure that there are several on this list who understand the details left
out of the article.For example the TS 50 seems to have better specs for
MDS while the Scout has better BDR rating. Unless I've forgotten what that
means (I read the article last summer and should re read it) I think this
means that under normal conditions the Scout hears a bit better that the TS
50 but the Scout would be sommewhat more subject to strong signal
interference. I'm not sure how important that difference is during normal
everyday operating.
The test was done in 1993 which means that the umimproved CPU was tested.
Would I be right in thinking that the upgrade would improve the MDS and
(what they call) "Phase" noise while it would not improve the other specs?
