Does anyone know of any PSK31 software that can do more than just toggle an
RS232 status (RTS / DTR) line for PTT control? The reason is that I have a
laptop that I want to use for portable operation with my Pegasus, but it has
only one serial port, which of course, is needed for the Pegasus. What I'm
looking for is a program that can send a message to another program (i.e.
the Pegasus control program) to control PTT. The Pegasus control program can
then place the Pegasus in Tx as needed. I already have my own custom
Pegasus control program that could be easily modified to respond to such a
message.
Two other options would be using the Pegasus internal VOX or one of the
interfaces that provides sound operated transmit (SOX). Does anyone have any
experience with any of these. Does anyone have any experience with either of
these approaches?
