Sure... (to a request that I post some of my macros)
Note that I got the idea from something posted by (I believe) George W5YR a
while ago...
I call this one 'Align'. It moves the selected signal to 900 Hz (center of
the passband for the 9 Mhz/500 Hz RTTY filter), and then toggles 9 Mhz
filter (assumes filter is originally off).
<ALIGN:900><CATCMDHEX:FE FE 04 EO 06 01 06 FD>
I have one of my two band selectors for each band set to the PSK subband,
and use this macro to go back to the default, i.e., 14.070 Mhz for 20m
(while toggling the narrow filter -- macro assumes this filter is on):
<CATCMDHEX:FE FE 04 EO 06 01 06 FD><CATCMDHEX:FE FE 04 EO 0A FD>
Here's how to clear the narrow filter and reset to the 2.4 Khz 6 Mhz filter:
<CATCMDHEX:FE FE 04 EO 06 01 02 FD>
Swap out the '02' with '03' thru '05' for the 1800, 500, and 250 hz filters,
respectively. Note that this command is not a toggle... when you select a
filter it is selected. The way to 'clear' this is to set the 2400 Hz
filter, i.e., '02'. Filter '06' toggles the 9 Mhz filter (this is not in
the manual but was found by trial and error).
Get your Omni VI manual out and you can see that you can have all sorts of
fun with MixW and the CATCMDHEX macro.
BTW, here is another thing I have done so that I can toggle transmit via
software rather than via asserting the DTR/RTS line (I use DTR/RTS for CW
transmitting).
Go to MixW.INI in the MixW directory, and add/change the following two
lines:
OnTX=<CATCMDHEX: FE FE 04 E0 16 01 FD>
OnRX=<CATCMDHEX: FE FE 04 E0 16 02 FD>
This macro is invoked automatically by the TX and RX macros (and is ignored
if you choose DTR/RTS for CW mode).
Hope this helps,
- jgc
