Hi Jan -
I recently acquired an Omni VI+ (love it) and I installed the 500 and 250
filters on the 9 MHz board. I work 99% cw and I am pleased with this
arrangement. However many ops elect to put a 1.8 and 500 on the 9MHz board
as it gives more flexibility when operating SSB. I suspect that for resale
most ops would prefer to see the 1.8/500 setup, but I don't plan to sell
this beauty :-) Hope this helps.
