First time I've heard of anyone doing that. The
method I suggested has had good results by others also:

It is very simple to tune in a SSB signal and simply adjust
the 8-9 Menu RX Offset by ear for best intelligibility.
The TX Offset was determined by another person listening
to transmitted audio. Since this is the Ten-Tec reflector
and I don't want to encourage anyone to add any more clicking
MP's to our already polluted airwaves, I'll make this my last
comment about the MP. Why not go to the 1000mp reflector and
ask your MP questions there?
