I use regular stereo headphones. 8 ohm, I think the problem was in the
early versions of the Orion.

I know you said no mike but I use a Heil Pro-Set (HC5) with my Orion and
get great reports on my audio quality. Whatever you choose for headphones
make sure it is high impeadance (~200-ohms), Tentec has had problems with
people using low impeadence (~8-ohms) ones.
