You don't hear much about that 6n2 rig, do you? I think you ought to just
order the thing and try it out for yourself. You know the TenTec policy
will let you return it within 30 days - no problem. That way you could
actually A/B it against the Icom - which would be a pretty tough rig to
beat..
I own an FT-847 for V/UHF work and enjoy it very much.
