Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the information. You are right that you ought to use the 
attenuator. With the S meter pegged on the "in the passband signals", we 
don't know how far down the "out of the passband signals" are. (of 
course an Omni VI S meter is not a lab instrument, so we're not going to 
know with any great precision anyway) Nevertheless your observations are 
better than no data at all.
