True, it is goofy. The first time I wanted to adjust it, I took the knob
off. Then, you find you can adjust it by holding the skirt...kind-of with
your fingernails.

According to the Omni 6 manual, tuning knob drag (friction) is adjustable
by
holding the chrome knob flange still while rotating the knob  itself.
What's
the trick to accomplishing that without damage? I don't see  any way to
grab
the flange.
