[TenTec] Distorted and "clicky" receive audio; Orion

I installed v2.055 yesterday. Operating ssb this afternoon, after a time
received signals in the main receiver became distorted (sounded like
they were clipping) and had discernable "clicks."  In addition, changing
the bandwidth or the RX EQ setting caused discernable clicks in the
audio. This occurred with either noise blanker on or off. Checking on
cw, the signals sounded almost like pulse signals, hardly any carrier at
all. The sub receiver was fine. I performed a master reset, and the
distortion problem went away; the "clicks" remained when rotating the BW
and multi switch with RX EQ.

Has anyone experienced this?
