I haven't seen anything definitive.  It's still a guesswork exercise based
on observed behavior.  Bt it does seem that the notch functions may have
been moved there, since there's no apparent affect on the actual signals in
the passband.  If anyone on any of the various lists knows for sure they're
keeping mum ...
