Bill,
Actually I did measure the bandwidth at the "10hz"
setting and "25hz" setting.
For the 10hz filter:
with a 50mV signal injected reading -69.8 dbm at the
center freq (the peak reading)I measured the bandwidth
at 3db down as 40hz, at 6 db down as 64hz and at 60db
down (-130 dbm) as 180hz. Below this level I could no
longer precieve any signal and I hit my noise floor
which was -139dBm
For the 25 hz filter:
with the signal injected at 50mv the peak read -69.9
dbm. I measured a 3db bandwidth of 44hz, a 6db
bandwidth of 63hz and a 60db (-130dbm) bandwidth of
178 hz. The signal then dissappeared into my noise
floor of -138 dbm.
True enough these are not 25 hz and 10 hz filters.
They are 60hz filters. I have no problem receiving
any CW signal using these filters. And there is no
ringing. So far I'm pretty impressed.
