Wil, You are right on target with your assessment of this reflector.  
However, in my opinion, it is not reflective of hams generally. You might  
consider 
viewing other reflectors that deal with issues on a broader scale or  even on a 
non-product oriented scale. If you are insistant on reviewing a  product 
oriented reflector, I would suggest trying the Elecraft reflector.  People 
there 
have a different attitude toward "the company" and its  products. I personally 
am very pleased with both Elecraft and Tentec and  their products (I own and 
operate at least three radios from each). It is a  great hobby--don't get 
disheartened based on this sampling...72/73, Ci
