Gary, Is this something you bought from TT? It's a 311 decoder?

I have a new Orion II and Hercules II that is working great, but the band
switching would be nice.

Subject: [TenTec] Hercules II Amp

I've just purchased a Hercules II amp and put it on the air this evening
connected to my Orion II. Connection is through the Ten Tec 311 band switch
(converts the Hercules II to accept the Orion II band switching which is
different from the older Omni rigs), plus a couple of RCA cables for TX in
and out. Everything seems to be working great but I do have a question for
anyone running something similar.

There doesn't appear to be a way to put the amp in bypass other than
shutting it off. I'd like to have it in bypass while I tune up the antenna,
or just to run 100 watts rather than 500.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Gary Strong
