Just FYI - the Orion will not update running through a microHam DigiKeyer
that connects to the computer through a USB port. It stalls out early in
the FW write process. I have to use a hard COM port to update.

Updates and controls fine with my USB port (w/Keyspan USB-serial
converter) - and always has. If you're thinking of a USB jack on the
Orion, I wouldn't hold my breath.
