Josh, you may be right.... but by my measure of the QRM activity while
listening to BS7H (for about 7 hours on 20M cw), I doubt that the
letters appearing on the screen would have helped too much. Most of the
"inadvertent ??" QRM'ers simply were not listening first and doubt if
reading the word split would have helped them. They didn't seem to be
aware he was working split to begin with. Even after repeated attempts
by the frequency cops sending "UP" "UP", I noticed quite a few still
didn't understand or couldn't copy "UP" at the speed being sent.
Congratulations if you were able to work BS7H thru the mess.
