Efficient modes do not require full power, and if they leavwe the radio in SSB transmit at all times like PSK does, you want to go at half power to make your radio last longer. Remember, the FCC says use the minimum power required for the communication. -Stuart K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
