What is the problem? when I go into tune with my Icom 706MKIIG I only put out
10 watts. I like that. When I tune up my KX1 and K1 with internal tuners I get
maybe 1 1/2 watts out of a 4 watt or 7 watt radio. I like that! Even when I
tune up the TenTec 544 I tune at a low output like 10-20 watts.

regardless of carrier level. The scope pattern is
a bit goofy looking, but the on-air audio reports
are all very positive, even from old time AM'ers.
