Had the same problem with my 425 three weeks ago.  One of the meter shunt
caps blew apart when I powered up the amp.  The sound scared our cat out of
the shack!

Easy fix.   Purchased replacements from Mouser with higher voltage ratings
and replaced all of them.

I've had the same problem with the capacitors on the meter shunt board.
