Doug - If you are going to get an OMNI 6+ make sure it is a late model. The early one I had had many birdies. T-T solved that problem with the late version which has the TXCO and SM components. My present OMNI 6+ is one of these. Very happy with it. If you are a CW op then the Inrad 600 Hz filter unit will be of a great advantage. This unit is installed you, the owner. 73 and good luck with your search.
