Art,
        I used the 2-wire ICOM interface with mine and it played really
well.  I built the interface that is in the (1991?) QST magazine instead of
buying the expensive ICOM unit.  Supported up to 4 rigs at a time, though I
only used it with the Omni VI+.

Hi All,

My XYL gave me an Omni VI Opt. 3 for my birthday (let's not ask which
one...).

What seems to be the best hook up cable?  DB25 to DB9?  Or the use of a
serial to USB with level converter, like the Timewave unit?

Appreciate the suggestions.  To route the cable neatly I'll have about 8' to
cover.
