Tie wraps and many plastics outside are more attacked by the Ultra
violet rays of the sun. Ozone usually is made by electrical action
such as arcing, (lightning), but dissipates in the lower atmosphere
readily by dilution. That said, local confined exposure to ozone can
affect materials.
